Have you seen a Great White in Plett?  Report your sightings in the LiveSpotr App.

LiveSpotr is supporting Citizen Science data collection on great white shark sightings at Robberg, South Africa, in concert with Shark Week's "Air Jaws Strikes Back" and the University of Miami Shark Research Program.

To support this effort, the LiveSpotr app has been optimized to focus solely on non-paid submissions by Citizen Scientists specifically focused on reporting great white shark related activity. Citizen scientists will be able to download the free LiveSpotr app in the Apple App Store and, provided they are located in the designated shark activity areas, quickly and seamlessly submit text, photo and video content privately to SRC for review.

Great whites are protected in South Africa waters, so also please submit any suspicious activity involving Great Whites, such as fishing of sharks or harassment by boaters.

Your submission will be reviewed by the University of Miami's Shark Research & Conservation Program. They may contact you directly for further information. Thanks for being a Citizen Scientist and supporting shark research! For more information visit www.SharkTagging.com
